Bathroom Water Saving Tips
- Check regularly for any leaks in your toilets, shower heads, tub faucets & sink faucets and have them repaired or replaced.
You could save hundreds of gallons per day. - Upgrade to a low flow toilet in each bathroom to save about one-half gallon to five gallons per flush.
You could save up to 4,000 gallons each year with this one small action. - Install a water-saving low-flow shower head. It can reduce your hot water use by 50 percent and typically doesn’t lower your shower water pressure.
You can save up to two gallons per minute. - Install bathroom faucet aerators to lower the water consumption while still allowing for good pressure & flow needed to wash with.
